HAND PAINTED ENVELOPE

Featured Items

This area will be utilized to provide illustrations of stamps and covers for MEXIMAIL illustrations and discussion.

Email your images for approval to: doug@meximail.org. Scan images of stamps at 600dpi, and covers at 300dpi. For covers scan both sides if important, otherwise you choose the side to submit.  JPG files are preferred. Other formats will be converted to JPG. If for any reason your file will not convert it will not be added to the web.

To get approval contact the email above and let me know what it is that you intend to discuss. Virtually anything is acceptable, but I may not want to get too repetitive. If it is only similar to another item already illustrated, I may not want to place it on the web at all.  Each cover placed must be followed by a post from you. If you fail to post and explain the item it will be removed at the earliest opportunity. Items posted that generate a lot of discussion will be kept for extended periods. If you are not comfortable posting in English, make the post in Spanish. We have plenty of people that will translate for you. When you send a request include the images (as attachments) that you hope to illustrate.

Be patient, it may take a few days from the time you send an email and the attachments before I am able to get them on the MEXIMAIL web. Also, I probably will not want to add new material hourly, so if I receive more than a couple of requests in a weeks time, I may hold the material until such time that I can get to it.

We are an equal opportunity site. Classics, post-classics, modern, stampless and colonial will all be treated with equality. The color of your letter makes no difference to us.
