How to Join the MEXIMAIL Forum
The only thing necessary to join the MEXIMAIL forum is for you to send an email to the email address "listserver@meximail.org". The body of the email that you send is very specific and requires that the body be in text mode. This is a very important point, because if anyone sends an email to listserver in any mode other than text, it will not successfully execute the intended request.
In Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express, the format of the email is selectable. In Outlook, one has a choice of Plain Text, HTML or Rich Text. Outlook Express provides only two and they are Rich Text (HTML) and Plain Text. The required format is Plain Text.

Once the format is properly set, then it is a simple matter to join. Simply enter "SUBSCRIBE CHAT" in the body, nothing else.

Make sure that no spaces precede the "SUBSCRIBE" and that there is only a single space between the "SUBSCRIBE" and the "CHAT". The case is unimportant it may be upper case or lower case letters. Then send the email to listserver@meximail.org. If your email was properly formatted, you will shortly receive and email confirming that you have been added to the list. And once on the list, all of your emails that you create to contribute to the forum must be sent to "forum@meximail.org" or "chat@meximail.org". And emails sent to either of these addresses can be posted in any format (i.e. Plain Text, HTML or Rich Text).
